We are used to handling highly sensitive data, and we can take additional precautions to keep yours secure at every stage. Clients trust us with material they cannot afford to have loose in the world, and the way we work reflects that rather than treating it as a special case.
If your organization has its own requirements — a particular transfer method, a destruction schedule, a questionnaire to complete, an agreement to sign — tell us what they are. It is a conversation we have often, and the answer is usually that we can accommodate you.
We handle it regularly
Membership lists, patient communications, donor files, payroll material and pre-release work all pass through here. It is routine rather than exceptional, which is the thing worth knowing.
Sent however you need to send it
Encrypted transfer, your own secure system, or a method your policy specifies. If you would rather encrypt before it reaches us and send the key separately, that works too.
Seen only by the people on the job
Access is limited to the people producing your work, on systems kept under active management, with copies held so a fault here never becomes your problem.
Destroyed when you say so
Where a project calls for it, data is held separately and securely destroyed on completion, backups included, so nothing is left recoverable.

If the building stops working
We keep a business continuity plan because the timing of a disruption is not something anybody gets to choose. It covers data backup and recovery, the systems production actually depends on, how we assess what is still working, how we reach you and each other, where people work from, and which suppliers and contractors have to be contacted first.
The scale of a disruption changes the answer. Something affecting only this building means moving production to a local site and resuming quickly. Something affecting the district, the city or the region means moving outside the affected area. In either case the intention is the same: the work continues and you can reach your property.

Filling in a vendor questionnaire?
Send it over. We answer security and continuity questionnaires regularly and would rather complete yours properly than have you infer the answers from a page. If your policy requires something we have not described here, ask — the answer is usually that we can accommodate it.
