Broudy Printing Inc. Awarded the “Benny” in International Print Competition

Pittsburgh, PA8-21-06Broudy Printing of Pittsburgh was awarded a Benny, the highest honor in the 2006 Premier Print Awards, for their entry Boy Scouts of America Annual Report.The Premier Print Awards, the graphic arts industry’s largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition, recognizes outstanding achievement in print production.  Broudy Printing Inc. received their “Benny” for Business and Annual Reports.

The Premier Print Awards are the printing industry’s oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition, hosted by PIA/GATF.  In its 57th year, the annual contest recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications.  The event promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the very best in print media.

This year, over 5500 entries were received from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world, and judges awarded the Benny to  the top entry in each category.

Michael Makin, president and CEO of PIA/GATF said,  “The Benny winners represent the  best our industry has to offer.  And in 2006, it was extremely competitive as there were hundreds more entries from companies in 18 countries.  Despite the fierce competition Broudy Printing, through hard work and dedicated craftsmanship, produced a piece worth of the Benny.”

Broudy Printing will receive their Benny The Premier Print Gala, which honors all the companies that had the top award conferred upon them.  The 2006 Gala is scheduled for Sunday October 15 at the Chicago Hilton, Chicago, IL
