Broudy Printing Installs Horizon iCE StitchLiner Mark IV for Automated Booklet Production

Pittsburgh, PA — October 15, 2025 — Broudy Printing has installed a Horizon iCE StitchLiner Mark IV saddle-stitching system, expanding in-house capacity for booklets that need clean trims, quick changeovers, and reliable turnaround.
The Mark IV collates flat sheets, scores and folds, saddle-stitches, and three-knife trims in one pass. That means press sheets can move into finished booklets without leaving our bindery, which is especially useful for school, nonprofit, and agency programs with tight schedules or multiple versions.
What clients can run on it
Finished saddle-stitched booklets typically range from about 4¾″ × 3½″ (pocket size) up to about 13⅞″ × 9⅞″ in portrait, with landscape formats available for larger calendar-style pieces (about 10⅜″ × 11⅞″ trimmed). Exact limits depend on stock, page count, and grain. If you are planning a booklet outside a common 8½″ × 11″ or 5½″ × 8½″ size, ask us early and we will confirm fit.
Automated format settings keep changeovers short when you need several sizes or versions in one week. Offset and digital flat sheets both feed the line through our Horizon VAC collators.
